Part installation, part social intervention SHAMEBOOTH hopes to free people from their shame.

Shamebooth is a roving installation that invites people to participate by walking into the booth, picking up the phone and responding to an invitation to share an experience or feeling they have around shame. The idea is that through sharing your experience, you not only have a chance to release your shame but you offer others the strength to do the same.

Artist Paula Williams conceived of this project and approached us to develop the booth, design all the components, support the recordings and edit them into what will become a podcast series and installation.

We hope it changes the lives of those who participate and listen.
